circa 1850, with slightly shortened 30in. over-bored twist-iron barrels, scroll engraved rib-end and platinum plugs to breech-blocks, fully scroll engraved top-tang, border, scroll and game-scene engraved bar action locks signed 'DEANE ADAMS & DEANE', engraved hammers (one replaced), walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, iron furniture including grip-safety to lower tang and period replacement mahogany ramrod, the whole worn with loss to detail, together with a period walnut storage case compartmented and relined in green baize, reproduction trade-label inside lid and complete with period powder and shot flasks
